The images or pictures are sent encrypted by high-capacity communication lines from the originating hospital or clinic to the PACS of CETIR. The physician in charge of preparing the report from his or her home or workplace—depending on the contracted service modality—accesses the network by means of an ADSL broadband link and, using a personal password, enters the PACS where the patient exploration is stored. If your center does not have a PACS, CETIR can store your images.
Once the images have been studied, a diagnosis is established, and a report is prepared and sent to the center of origin.
